PRESIDENT CONGRATULATES MEDAL WINNERS IN INCHEON ASIAN GAMES – 2014

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has congratulated medal winners in Asian Games 2014. These include Ms. Ritu Rani, Captain of Indian Women Hockey Team and her team for winning the Bronze Medal; Ms. Tintu Lukka for winning Silver Medal in the Women’s 800m and Ms. Annu Rani for winning Bronze Medal in the Women’s Javelin Throw.

In his message to the Captain of Women Hockey Team, the President said, “This is a great achievement for our women and should inspire all women of India to aspire for success in whatever areas they are working in.

I wish you and the entire team every success in the future.”

Similarly, in his indidivual messages to winners in Athletics the President said, “You have done India proud through this achievement and your success is an example of what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication.

I wish you the very best for all future endeavours.”
