Paris, 08/07/2023: The French government authorities announced that President Emmanuel Macron will be hosting PM Modi at the Cour Marly courtyard at the world-famous Louvre Museum for a ceremonial dinner expected to be attended by over 250 dignitaries.

The Cour Marly dinner features an army of statues created by the world’s best sculptors since the nineteenth century. Following a lavish vegetarian lunch at the Cour Marly for PM Modi, President Macron will join the Indian leader on a guided tour of the Louvre. Perhaps the two of them will be shot alongside Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, a masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance housed in the Louvre.

This is in addition to a private supper with the two leaders at the French President’s official residence, Elysee Palace. The entire meal would also allow both leaders to discuss critical global and bilateral concerns, following the formal delegation-level meetings, after the Bastille Day parade on Champs Elysees in front of the French President on July 14.

The parade will feature a 269-man detachment of the Indian Army from the Punjab Regiment and the Rajputana Rifles. Simultaneously, one Indian Air Force Rafale fighter would be displayed, with three more following in formation. The Indian Navy’s indigenous guided missile destroyer, INS Chennai, will be stationed at the strategic port of Brest, where the French Navy’s nuclear ballistic missile launch submarines (SSBNs) are stationed. However, the big display will come after the delegation-level negotiations in Paris.
