President of India election to be conducted on July 17
The Election Commission of India has announced the schedule of the upcoming election of the fourteenth President of India. The election will be organised on July 17. President Pranab Mukherjee’s term expires on July, 24.
Members of Parliament will vote at the parliament in New Delhi, while MLAs will vote in their respective state capitals.
EC will issue the notification for the elections on June 14 and results will be announced on July 20.
