PRESIDENT –RECEPTION COMMITTEE – IHGF DELHI FAIR SPRING 2016 NOMINATED

IHGF-Delhi Fair Spring 2016 will be held from 20 – 23 February, 2016 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, NCR Delhi. Around 2780 exhibitors including permanent marts, drawn from all over India will be exhibiting more than 2000 designs and products spread over in 14 halls covering 1,90,000 sq. mtrs space. IHGF-Delhi Fair (earlier known as IHGF) which was started in the year 1994 have reached its 41^st edition during Spring 2016 .

For smooth functioning of the mega event, One of the member exporters of EPCH Shri Satya Prakash Dadoo of M/s Blue Art Flower Vases, Khurja, Uttar Pradesh has been nominated as President-IHGF-Delhi Fair Spring 2016 (Reception Committee). He is one of the stalwarts in the business of ceramic, blue pottery with golden work and bone china for the last 41 years from Khurja, Uttar Pradesh. He has been awarded several awards such as MSME award from Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, State Export Award, life time achievement award by EPCH for his contribution made in Handicrafts sector and National Award (twice) for producing and supplying quality products from President of India informed Shri Rakesh Kumar, Executive Director – EPCH.

More than 5,000 buyers are expected to source their requirement at this fair. Buyers from countries like USA, UK, Japan, France, Italy, Canada, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, China, Australia, Philippines, Hong Kong and many more have already confirmed their visit to the fair. However, buyers from Latin American region particularly Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Central Asia, Africa and middle east will also be sourcing their requirement at this fair.

Apart from presence of large number of overseas buyers, a sizeable number of domestic volume retail buyers from WestSide, Shoppers Stop, Hometown, lifestyle and renowned e-commerce companies such Ebay, flipkart, bed bath & More, Pepper Fry, Urban Ladder, FabFurnish and many more have also confirmed their visit to the fair for bulk sourcing further elaborated by Shri Kumar, ED-EPCH.

Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts [EPCH] which is a nodal agency for promotion and development of handicrafts has been organizing the Indian Handicrafts & Gifts Fair for the last 22 years. IHGF-Delhi Fair Spring 2016 is expected to generate huge amount of enquiries and orders.
