PRESS RELEASE – INDIA FAIR 2015 ON APRIL 18 & 19, 2015
INDIA FAIR 2015 Press Conference was held on March 7, 2015 over a dinner at Royal Albert Palace, Edison, NJ. Our Corporate Sponsor Zee TV – # 1 South Asian entertainment Network Presents the annual Gala event and organized by Business NJ – NRI Federation. Our Organiser Raj Anand – Arun Anand along with Co-Organizer Deepak & Surbhi kavadia was present with India fair “ Brand Ambassador The Disco King and Pop Star of Bollywood “ Bappi Laheri” was present at the press conference.
INDIA FAIR — will take place on Saturday & Sunday April 18 & 19, 2015 (11AM-7PM) at NJ Convention & Expo Center, Raritan Center, 97 Sunfield Avenue, Edison NJ 08837.
India Fair is about fostering friendship among different communities and promoting various businesses, understanding and appreciation of India’s rich culture, craft and culinary arts with our American friends. This is our 9th year and India Fair is celebrating Make in India Program as envisaged by our Hon’ble Prime Minister.
India Fair is the biggest platform in East Coast USA for participating exhibitors to take advantage and promote various items in this part of world. The Fair also envisage to popularize Make in India products amongst American buyers, bring together the communities, various businesses under one roof and promote diversity. In the nutshell, the fair pursues two popular goals (1) foster love, affection, harmony and celebrate INDIA right here in USA and (2) promote, market and showcase various indigenous goods overseas and generate substantial leads for import and export industries.
At the outset, Mr. Rajesh Anand stated that it is a great event and celebrated for nine years with much pomp, show and solemnity. He mentioned that this year we are celebrating Make in India program of our Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. Mr. Anand noted that it is a wonderful business fair and trade show showcasing – Indian Art and handicrafts, costume jewelry, traditional dresses, Indian Cuisine, and an array of Indian classical and popular performing Bollywood dancing groups.
Our Brand Ambassador Mr Bappi Lahiri spoke highly about the Fair and also sang the song “Make in India “created by him especially for India fair, 2015. Bappi daa thanked India Fair and its organizers and NRI Federation for inviting him to the India Fair and informed the guests that he had a special and Surprise Presentation for India Fair and would love to share and joy the celebrations. He also mentioned that he has coined a SONG AND MUSIC for the Make in India Program which will be launched on April 18th at the inauguration of India Fair. He appealed to all NRIs to join hands with NRI Federation and put their might and contribution to make the Make in India program of our PM a grand success. He sensed that NRI support would be vital and vibrant to take the program to a new height. He personally thanked Rajesh Rai and Arun Anand – Organizers of India Fair for celebrating MAKE IN INDIA program at India Fair. He also acknowledged and praised both of them for inviting him to this wonderful event. He finally noted that he is eagerly awaiting to be a part of it from the heart and soul and requested all to come and witness the launch of his music.
Our Co-organiser Mr Deepak Kavadia, also Founder/ Chairman of NRI Federation gave a brief introduction, its program and policies for NRIs and emphatically mentioned the expected unequivocal support of Government of India to its program. He also thanked Rajesh and Arun Anand for inviting NRI Federation and giving a platform to the Federation to make the program more vibrant, pronounced and alive.
As usual, this year the biggest attraction would be a surprise Bollywood Star along with Bollywood Star Mr.Bappi Lahiri, King of synthesized Disco Music in Indian Cinema is also our Star Performer at India Fair 2015 and will perform live for thousands of people on India Fair State on both days.
On April 19, 2015 there will be a ‘Dazzling Dance Competition’. Many leading dance academies /schools of Tri-State are participating. There are cash prizes for Best Choreography, Best Costume and other categories.
There are also incredible ‘Dance Performances’ by Drexel University students and other leading Schools on April 18, 2015. The prominent dancing academies participating in India Fair are Moksha Dance Academy, Natraj Dance Studio, Taal Academy, Dancing Shiva, Step 2 Dance, Atma Performing Art, Luv to Zumba, Marigold Dance School, Pagrav Dance Studio, Nacho Josh Se, Prerna Dance School, and many others. Other regional dances including Bharatanatyam, Odissi Dance, Bhangra, Garba will steal the show. In addition many renowned singers are lined up to sing variety of songs.
Musical attractions will include Radio & TV artists & personalities, non-stop entertainment by popular DJ Lucky with live band will dominate the cultural show.
Fashion shows by leading designers of New Jersey, North Carolina and New York showcasing the bridal and casual wear will also be an added attraction at the show. They will be featuring a number of models in contemporary and modern outfits.
Indian Cuisine – vegetarian and non-vegetarian- is a major attraction at the Fair. Participating are a number of leading Indian restaurants, including Sukhadia, Rajbhoj, Famous Samosas, Jassi Sweets, Biryani Pot, Arusuvai, Harris Tea and some others will cater to the people visiting the Fair. Sugarcane Juice and Kulfi (made of milk and in different flavors including mango) will be added attractions in the food court.
Among the fashion attractions many stall for selling popular “kurti” tops, Silk Sarees, scarfs, stoles, handicrafts, bags, jewelry, bangles, diamond jewelry, one gram gold jewelry and much more. Prominent Banks, insurance companies, mortgage companies, paintings, long distance calling companies, exhibitors from all over USA and India are among many participating in the Fair.
At the end, Mr Bappi Lahiri was recognized and honored with BRAND AMBASSADOR for India Fair and NRI Federation and Mr. Lahiri thanked INDIA FAIR its Organizers Rajesh and Arun Anand and NRI Federation for the honor, respect and esteem shown to him at the INDIA FAIR PRESS CONFERENCE
