IT is claimed universally that human life’s priceless but in India it’s the otherway round, here human life’snot priceless as our government has fixed a rate cardwhich they call compensation. For death in train accident, riots and flood they offer a few lakhs in case the deceased falls in the category of SC ST or Minority then the amount increases and also accompanied by Flats nd plots.

When it comes to women things are even adverse in case of being raped if the matter’s highlighted by the media some medical help is offered when Gang raped the amount increases and comes with incentives like lakhs of rupees, government job, flat in posh locality, and sometimes even raises new funds in the name of the victim.What’s more shocking is that the families readily accept the amount in the name of compensation theyeven go the extent of training letters for the speedy disbursement of the flats and plots, instead of askingfor a speedy trial.I don’t blame the government for fixing the rate card but we r to be blamed as we r the one’s who accept them if we stop accepting these incentives, we all must demand for our safety and security and in case of a mishap our demand must be for speedy justice
