Pudhache Paul presented ‘Jago Hindustani’ event for Maharashtra flood victims in New Delhi

New Delhi: Pudhache Paul in association with Indian Diaspora Club organised ‘Jago Hindustani’, a fund-raising event for the recent Maharashtra flood victims at Godavari Auditorium this Friday in New Delhi. It was a musical evening of Hindi songs and music to raise funds for the victims. The chief guest for the event was acclaimed Film Actress Nishiganda Wad.
Dnyaneshwar Mulay, Ex Secretary, Foreign Affairs and Member, NHRC said while speaking to Ten News,”There were devastating floods in many parts of India. I have adopted two villages in Kolhapur district for rehabilitation efforts and would be happy if all could join too. People can contribute in three ways 1) financial 2) capacity building and 3) preventive disaster management training. ”
“The two villages adopted are the main source of agriculture in while district and also supplies maximum Diary Milk. We have decided to arrange work for the youth and other capable persons. Employable people will be given jobs abroad as well which will help them earn good to make their village happy and live life happily again” added Dnyaneshwar Mulay.
The event was organised in association with Orane-Events in Delhi to support the affected areas by asking for contribution from the Delhi public. Entry to the venue was absolutely free and anyone could contribute for the Maharashtra flood victims.
Musical Group ‘Jago Hindustani’ showcased numerous musical performances that awakened patriotic feelings amongst the audience .
The Success Story of ‘Swarninad’ and ‘Jago Hindusthani’ Swarninad Kolhapur has been performing the outstanding cultural entertaining musical programmes since 1989.
It started with Marathi programmes and continued with Hindi old melodious songs. In 1997 when India was celebrating 50th year of Independence(Goiden Jubilee),the Producer Sunil Sutar and the Director Suresh Shukla of Swaminad designed and brought on stage ‘Jago Hindusthani’.This programme is based on the theme of Indian Culture, freedom movement and the present social conditions. The old and new Hindi film songs were performed on the stage with dramatic comparing for two hours.
As the programme created value based impression on the minds of audience it got overwhelming response from the audience of all ages from children to old men and women.The event was a grand success as it enhanced the respect for the Indian Culture and Freedom fighters and created long lasting impacts in the minds of audience .
The programs was well attended by the top officers , NGOs and who’s who from Marathi circle .
