Racing legend Kevin Schwantz to attend Suzuki Gixxer Cup American legend in Delhi for Suzuki Gixxer Cup final round

New Delhi, September 26, 2015: Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), a subsidiary of one of the world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan is proud to welcome legendary racer and 1993 500cc Grand Prix World Champion Kevin Schwantz, on his maiden visit to India. The American icon will be present at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, Delhi over the weekend of September 26 and 27 as Suzuki’s guest for the final round of Suzuki One Make Race Gixxer Cup Championship. The Grand Prix “Legend”, who first learned to ride a bike at the age of 4, has 25 Grand Prix wins to his credit. Kevin Schwantz was famous for his do or die riding style and continues to be an inspiration for aspiring racers and fans across the world. He was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999 and also named Grand Prix “Legend” by the FIM in the year 2000. On September 26 he will demonstrate his unique daredevil style of riding on a Suzuki Gixxer at the BIC The legendary racer commented, “I feel extremely privileged to come to India which has all the signs of a future racing power.
