#Rain ensures pleasant Sunday in #Delhi, more likely on Monday
New Delhi, July 3 (IANS) The national capital experienced a pleasant day on Sunday as light rains and cloudy weather took the maximum temperature four notches below the season’s average to 32.4 degrees Celsius, Met office said. A cloudy sky with some rain/thundershowers are likely on Monday.
“Generally cloudy sky is expected on Monday. Light rain or thundershower is very likely to occur towards night,” said an official of India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 33 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Sunday’s minimum temperature settled at 27.2 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average, while the humidity oscillated between 87 and 72 per cent.
Saturday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 24.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average while the maximum temperature settled at 30.2 degrees Celsius, seven notches below average for this time of the season.
