RAMJAS FOUNDATION CELEBRATES 105TH ANNUAL DAY

Ramjas Foundation celebrated its 105th annual day at ROBA Auditorium, Ramjas School No. 4, Paharganj, New Delhi. The Chief Guest of the day was Ms. Saumya Gupta (I.A.S)-Director of Education. The event was graced by Sh. Ravi Kumar Gupta-Hony.Secretary, Ramjas Foundation, Sh. Raj Kumar Gupta- Chairman, Managing Committee, Sh. Gauri Shankar Moondhra- Hony.Secretary, Managing Committee, Sh. Atul Gupta-Hony. Joint Secretary, Managing Committee, members and trustees of Ramjas Foundation, Principals of various Ramjas Schools and illustrious alumni. The guests were welcomed by Sh. Gauri Shankar Moondhra who apprised the august audience about the great strides made by Ramjas Foundation over the years. Ms. Saumya Gupta addressed the gathering of academicians and students by congratulating the grand old institution for its contribution in the field of education. The Vote of Thanks was presented by Sh. Atul Gupta who thanked the esteemed guest for her benign presence at the event.

The illustrious alumni of this grand old institution were honoured for their commendable achievements and contribution in nation building. Class XII toppers and teachers were also awarded for their excellent result in C.B.S.E Class XII Board Exams in the session 2015-16.
The cultural programme was a kaleidoscope of India’s rich, cultural heritage and showcased dances from the four corners of the country-be it Ashok Vatika, a dramatic presentation from Ramayana, the foot tapping dances set to popular folk songs-Bhumro from Jammu & Kashmir, Bedu Paako from Uttarakhand, Ghoomar and Kaalbeliya from Rajasthan, Kavadi attam from Tamil Nadu or Bhangra from Punjab. It was a visual treat and transported everyone to a different world. The programme ended with the melodious rendition of the national anthem.
