Refined palmolein recovers on good demand
Mumbai, Jul 20 (PTI) Refined palmolein recovered at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market today due to good demand from retailers.
Linseed oil prices dropped further following reduced demand from paints and allied industries.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial held stable in the absence of any large-scale buying.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein regained by Rs 8 per 10 kg to Rs 545 from Tuesday’s close Rs 537 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,380 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseed bold and castoroil commercial remained unaltered at Rs 3,475 and Rs 725, respectively.
Linseed oil declined by Rs 50 per 10 kg to Rs 1,100 as compared to Rs 1,150 yesterday.
