Reliance names V Srikant as new CFO, Alok Agarwal to take over as Senior Advisor

New Delhi (India), 25th March 2023: Alok Agarwal, the Chief Financial Officer of Reliance Industries, has been appointed senior advisor to the chairman and managing director. The change will come into effect from June 1, 2023.

The announcement was made through a regulatory filing, that read, “This is to inform that Shri Alok Agarwal, Chief Financial Officer of the Company will assume a new role as Senior Advisor to the Chairman and Managing Director of the Company assisting him on a wide range of strategic issues with effect from June 1, 2023.”

Alok Agarwal was appointed as CFO in 2005, the company thanked him for his exemplary service and further added, “The Board appreciated Shri Alok Agarwal for his contribution in the transformative journey of the Company.”

Beginning on June 1, 2023, Srikanth Venkatachari, who has served as the company’s joint chief financial officer since 2011, will take over as CFO.

The Company’s Board of Directors decided on Venkatachari’s new position based on the suggestion of the Human Resources, Nomination, and Remuneration Committee.
