New Delhi, 6 June 2022: Renowned Indian author, activist and motivational speaker Shiv Khera on Sunday launched a book curated by young minds from the Young Dragon’s English Club.
The book, “And The Kind Dragon Dreamt” is an anthology of short stories that will give readers an insight into children’s world and their imaginative powers.
The chief guest, Shiv Khera, in his address, talked about good parenting. He mentioned the difference between two generations of parents, the one saying no to their children and the other always granting their kid’s wishes. Yet the kids from earlier generation always respected their parents unlike today, he said.
Khera, the author of bestseller ‘You Can Win’, also shared his motivational life journey inspiring the children to do better in life.
Speaking to Ten News, Khera shared some attributes for success in life. The most important of them all is perseverance, the ability to bounce-back, according to Khera. “Success is not measured by how high we go in life. It is the times we are willing to bounce back when we fall,” he said.
When asked about his upcoming projects, he stated that there are two more new books coming with Bloomsbury in 2022.
Advait Bhardwaj, Class 3 student of Amity International School, Pushp Vihar; Shaurya Anand, Class 4 student of Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai; Khrisha Anand, Senior KG student of Jamnabai Narsee Pre-School, Mumbai were amongst the 50 young authors of this book who were present on this occasion.
