Retail Employees’ Day Celebrations at Growel’s 101 Mall

Mumbai, December 13, 2022: It was a fun-filled day at Growel’s 101 Mall as the management organised a high-tea with fun activities for retail associates to celebrate Retail Employees’ Day on December 12, 2022. The gala celebration was extended to all retail and F&B brand employees operating in the mall.

Each retail employee/associate was welcomed at the staff entry points as they reported to work on December 12, 2022. The mall leadership addressed all employees with encouragement & motivation to acknowledge their hardworking to bring customer delight. Fun activities were hosted for all retail associates. Activities included fun games like tambola, musical chairs, fun and dance, along with cake cutting.

Speaking about the initiative, Gerald Mathew, General Manager Operations, Growel’s 101 Mall, Kandivali (Mumbai), said, “At Growel’s 101 Mall, we have always celebrated the Retail Employees’ Day along with associates of our retail partners. This is a small gesture of ours to say thank you to our retail partners for their efforts. It is gratifying to bring smiles to their faces.”

The ‘Retail Employees’ Day’ is a movement that was started in the year 2011 to be commemorated every year on the 12th of December by TRRAIN & RAI. This is one day dedicated to bringing cheer to retail employees, who work tirelessly on all other days to serve and delight customers.

Growel’s 101 Mall management actively ensures the mental well-being of their employees and the retail associates working at the mall across tenant stores. The mall has created a recreational zone for retail associates to utilise their break time to destress and connect with co-workers. The recreation zone has indoor activities like foosball, carrom, chess and many board games for the associates to have a fun time hanging out with their colleagues.

Besides during festivals like Diwali, Christmas, and Mall Anniversary among others are celebrated with retail associates, while there are special events like cricket tournaments, and talent hunts, among others that are conducted regularly during the year to cheer up retail associates.
