Retired IAF staff held for ‘raping’ 25-year-old in #Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad: A former technical staff of the Indian Air Force (IAF) was arrested by Ghaziabad Police on Friday evening for allegedly raping a 25-year-old woman in a motel near NH-58. The accused has been identified as Pramar Singh Chaudhary (48), a resident of Sahibabad.Police said Chaudhary had retired from his job of missile operator in the IAF a few years ago. According to the woman’s complaint, he had invited her to Ghaziabad on Friday afternoon to show her some flats on sale in Raj Nagar Extension, but instead, took her to a motel near Ganga canal, where he allegedly raped her.The woman, who works as a private clerk with a lawyer in Karkardooma Courts, met Chaudhary in Delhi around three days ago through a common friend identified as Ravi Kasana.

During the meeting, Chaudhary told her he is into the business of sale-purchase of properties in Ghaziabad. The woman shared her mobile number with him, since she wanted to purchase a flat in Ghaziabad.Chaudhary was arrested from the motel – Marwari Swad – by a police team, after the woman managed to dial up the police control room from her mobile phone. He had driven the woman to the motel in a Scorpio SUV.”Chaudhary first took the woman to Raj Nagar Extension in his Scorpio, where he showed her some apartments.
