Rishi Sunak’s Dilemma of Barbie vs Oppenheimer ends with a family outing at Cinema

New Delhi, 23rd July 2023: The whole world is caught in the whirlwind of Barbie Vs Oppenheimer. The frenzy caused by the two newly released movies has been apparent at the box office. While Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a biography of J Robert Oppenheimer, Greta Gerwig’s Barbie is the first-ever film based on the Mattel doll.

Every movie goer is facing the dilemma and so did UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

Sunak took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with his wife Akshata Murty and their two daughters Krishna and Anoushka. In addition, it appears that the family decided to watch Barbie first. The two little girls and their mother were dressed similarly. They wore pink, in keeping with the film’s theme. Sunak, on the other hand, was dressed casually in a grey sweater.

The adorable family picture was captioned, “The family vote was only ever going one way…Barbie first it is #barbenheimer”

As soon as the picture was posted it became viral over the internet. Netizens were quick to laud the Prime Minister for his decision and asked him to enjoy some down time with his family. Many on the other hand made fun of the Prime Minister for not wearing a pink attire as well.

One user commented on Sunak’s attire and said, “Rishi my guy you should be wearing pink.”

Barbie directed by Greta Girwig revolves around the unique world of Barbie the doll. It stars Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as her male partner Ken.
