Road safety campaign starts in district Gautam Budh Nagar

The transport department Gautam Budh Nagar is observing road safety week from today to improve driving skills and bring awareness among people. The campaign starts today and it will last for a week. A bike rally kicked off the campaign from the transport office at 10 am on Monday. The rally in which 100 volunteers participated was flagged off by Sujata Singh, SP Rural Gautam Budh Nagar. The bikers will roam across the city and aware people of road safety norms and provide information how and what to do in case of accidents.
Unskilled driving due to lack knowledge in road safety is a major cause of accidents. The officials have planned seven day campaign in different ways.
