Greater Noida News (05/04/2026): India’s road and highway infrastructure sector is gearing up for a major industry gathering as RoadX India 2026, the country’s first exhibition dedicated exclusively to green and sustainable road infrastructure, is scheduled to take place on April 9–10, 2026 at the India Expo Mart. The two-day expo and conference will bring together policymakers, engineers, technology innovators, and infrastructure developers on a single platform to discuss and demonstrate the next generation of road-building solutions.

The event will be inaugurated by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, who is expected to deliver the keynote address highlighting India’s vision for sustainable, safe, and technologically advanced highway networks.

A Platform for Innovation in Road Infrastructure

Positioned as India’s premier highways and infrastructure exhibition, RoadX India aims to accelerate the country’s transition toward eco-friendly, smart, and resilient transport infrastructure. The event will highlight cutting-edge developments in road construction technologies, sustainable materials, road safety systems, smart mobility solutions, and digital infrastructure management tools.

Organizers expect more than 10,000 visitors, over 250 exhibitors, around 400 delegates, and 30+ speakers to participate in the event, making it one of the largest gatherings of the road infrastructure ecosystem in India.

High-Level Conference and Industry Dialogue

Alongside the exhibition, the RoadX India Conference will feature keynote sessions, expert presentations, and panel discussions involving policymakers, industry leaders, and global specialists. Discussions will focus on emerging trends in smart mobility, highway safety, digital infrastructure planning, and sustainable construction practices.

The conference will serve as a platform for strategic dialogue between government agencies, private developers, investors, and technology providers, with the goal of shaping policies and partnerships that support India’s rapidly expanding highway network.

Networking and Business Opportunities

RoadX India is designed not only as a knowledge-sharing platform but also as a major business networking hub for the infrastructure sector. Attendees will have opportunities to connect with buyers, explore live product demonstrations, and generate procurement and partnership leads.

Key participants expected at the event include representatives from major government and policy bodies such as the National Highways Authority of India, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, and the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, along with state Public Works Departments, municipal authorities, and smart city officials.

Diverse Industry Participation

The exhibition will feature a wide range of stakeholders across the infrastructure value chain, including EPC contractors, bridge and tunnel builders, engineering consultants, digital technology firms, investors, and research institutions. Leading infrastructure contractors such as Larsen & Toubro, Afcons Infrastructure, and Dilip Buildcon are expected to be among the industry participants.

Exhibitors will showcase innovations in several key sectors including:

• Bridge and tunnel engineering technologies

• Modular and prefabricated infrastructure systems

• Advanced construction materials and structural solutions

• Digital design tools such as BIM and digital twin simulation

• GIS mapping and geotechnical analysis technologies

• Artificial intelligence and IoT solutions for predictive road maintenance

• Disaster-resilient infrastructure planning

• Participation from Finance and Research Institutions

Financial institutions, infrastructure investment funds, and development agencies—including global organizations such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and Japan International Cooperation Agency—are also expected to participate, highlighting emerging financing models and public-private partnership opportunities for highway development.

Academic institutions and research organizations, including leading institutes such as Indian Institutes of Technology, National Institutes of Technology, and the Central Road Research Institute, will contribute insights into innovation, policy development, and technological advancement in the sector.

Vision for Future-Ready Highways

The vision behind RoadX India is to create a national platform that promotes innovation, sustainability, and safety in highway development. By bringing together policymakers, investors, engineers, and technology providers, the event aims to support India’s journey toward building world-class, climate-resilient, and digitally integrated road networks.

With India rapidly expanding its expressway and highway infrastructure, the expo is expected to play a crucial role in fostering collaboration, accelerating technology adoption, and encouraging sustainable construction practices across the sector.
