‘Roshni’ for special kids at District Hospital
The Dr BR Ambedkar Multi Speciality District Hospital is planning to provide special education and speech therapy to children admitted with mental disabilities. The hospital is running a programme titled “Roshni” – a centre for evaluation and management for children with neurological disabilities amongst economically weaker sections. The programme is being run in association with the Pushpshiksha Foundation, an NGO, and children ranging from infants to 12-year-olds are provided with various tests and therapy.
