RRB NTPC Result 2016 Analysis: 2,53,803 Candidates qualify for 2nd Stage CBT

Railway Recruitment Board finally released the much awaited results for the Non Technical Popular Categories against the CEN 03/2015 yesterday, that is on December 7, 2016. The examination, now referred as the First Stage CBT was conducted in March for recruitment to 18,552 vacancies across various categories in the Indian Railways. The RRB has declared the results and candidates can check the Region Wise Result on the official websites. About 54 lakh aspirants had written the examination. The RRB NTPC Result has further trimmed the list and about 2.5 lakh candidates have qualified for the second stage CBT. Summarizing the Result of RRB NTPC for you, a total of 2,53,803 candidates have qualified for the 2nd Stage CBT Exam of RRB NTPC.

We present to you the complete analysis of the result for you to understand the total vacancies for each category and the number of people who have qualified. Maximum number of candidates were selected from Allahabad and Mumbai region at 42,972 and 34,019 candidates respectively. Jammu has the minimum number of candidates who have qualified for the same. The detailed table below mentions the Regions and the number of candidates who have qualified for the second round of recruitment examination for the NTPC – referred to as the 2nd Stage CBT. Candidates please note that not all the regions have released results yet. Results for Malda, Chandigarh and Patna region are still pending. There is no official update yet as to whether there is a delay in results or there are no candidates from the region who have qualified for the Second Stage CBT. Also, please note that the results are cumulative and category wise division is not possible. However, not all regions have declared lists across categories.
