Rs 1.93 crore innovation fund sanctioned for four districts

The Haryana government on Saturday sanctioned innovation funds of over rs 1.93 crore to four districts namely Faridabad, Gurgaon, Karnal and Kurukshetra. Sumita Misra, principal secretary, science and technology department, said that the project ‘training on wheel’ would be implemented in Faridabad district and Rs 31.23 lakh had been sanctioned for it. The main objective of this project, she said, was to create a pool of skilled persons from the underprivileged section through skill enhancement with market requirement.
