Mumbai,(India),10/08/23: Following his support for Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Oh My God 2, Sadhguru has now responded to the censor board’s ‘A’ certificate.

Sadhguru and other members of the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore were treated to a special screening of OMG 2.

OMG 2 is Akshay Kumar’s first film in 12 years to receive the ‘A – Adults Only’ rating.Sadhguru recently tweeted his thoughts on the subject.

He wrote, “‘A’ Certificate in this case should include Adolescents. That’s where it matters most. Education about understanding human biology and responding to the biological needs of an individual in a dignified and responsible way is very needed to build a Nation that is Fair & Just to all involved. -Sg #OMG2.”

Akshay Kumar, the lead of the movie also happily acknowledged Sadhguru’s views and tweeted, “Thank you so much @SadhguruJV. Hope the message reaches far and wide, in the right spirit.”

One of the main complaints about Oh My God 2 was Akshay Kumar’s portrayal of Lord Shiva. However, the teaser for the film, which was released a week ago, explained that Akshay’s character is not Lord Shiva, but rather a divine messenger.

After watching the special premiere of the movie Sadhguru had complimented the movie and had said, “Namaskaram @akshaykumar. Wonderful having you here at the Isha Yoga Center & learning about ‘Oh My God -2’.

He added, “Educating young people on how to handle their bodily needs is most essential if we want to cultivate a society that is sensitive to the safety & dignity of its women. It is time our education system focuses on equipping our youth to handle their body, mind & emotions rather than being purely information oriented.”
