“Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav in critical condition,” doctors say.

New Delhi, 9th October, 2022: According to a statement issued by Gurgaon’s Medanta Hospital on Sunday, Mulayam Singh Yadav’s condition is “quite critical.”

Dr Sanjeev Gupta, the hospital’s Medical Director, stated that Former CM of UP and Samajwadi Party leader, Mulayam Singh Yadav is being treated in the hospital’s intensive care unit by a multidisciplinary team of specialists.”

The 82-year-old SP patriarch has been receiving regular medical check-ups and examinations since August 22. On October 2, he was admitted to the hospital after his health suddenly deteriorated.

Last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inquired about Mulayam Singh Yadav’s health from his son, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. According to sources, PM Modi also assured Akhilesh Yadav that he would be available to help in any way.

Mulayam Singh Yadav, born on November 22, 1939, is a well-known leader in Uttar Pradesh. He has served as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh three times, as well as the Union Government’s Minister of Defence. He was elected as an MLA ten times and as a Lok Sabha MP seven times.

Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, also spoke with Akhilesh Yadav to inquire about his father’s health. “When Chief Minister Nitish Kumar learned of Mulayam Singh Yadav’s deteriorating health, he called his son and wished Mulayam Singh Yadav a speedy recovery,” the Bihar Chief Minister’s Office said.
