Sara Ali Khan flaunts fusion saree look for her day two outing at Cannes

Cannes (France), 18th May 2023: Cannes, the world’s largest film festival, has kicked off with a bang. After making quite a stir with her desi lehenga ensemble on the opening night of the festival, the actress decided to shake things up a little on day two by arriving in a gorgeous Indo-western white skirt with an “attached drape” or a modernised version of a Sari.

After dazzling audiences on the Cannes red carpet as she made her big debut, Bollywood beauty Sara Ali Khan changed from her bling Abu-Sandeep lehenga to a black and gold ensemble for the opening night party.

For her next look, Sara was again styled by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for the second day of the annual film festival. The designers have now published some lovely stills of Sara’s look.

They elaborated on her ensemble and wrote, “Sara Ali Khan creates magic in monochrome at Cannes 2023 in #abujanisandeepkhosla Couture. She dons an off-white chamois satin trailing skirt with an attached drape, intricately bordered with black and white tiny beads and crystals.”

They further added, “ An edgy halter neck blouse, embellished with black and white beads and crystals with multiple rows of pearls adds a twist to her chic look. Sara’s ensemble captures the essence of modern Indian fashion at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.”

The main highlight of Cannes was however, the premiere of Johnny Depp’s comeback picture, his first in three years, it took place on the first day of Cannes.
