Savitri Bai Phule Balika Inter College, Gr. Noida saluted – Savitri Bai Phule – “A Forgotten Liberator”

The great Indian educator and activist from Pune, Maharastra Savitri Bai Phule was the youngest teacher at the age of 17.She was a social reformer who worked for the girl children of the society and spread the message of equality amongst all. She was a visionary who understood the value of education in the empowering of women.
Here at SavitriBai Phule Balika Inter College, Gr. Noida Principal Ms. Rima Dey and staff members paid tribute to the great lady . Principal in her message said that we all must follow the path that Savitri Bai has laid down for education of the girls. Let us take it up as a mission to serve them.
The day was celebrated by staff singing bhajans and mantras. All members of Savitri Bai Phule Balika Inter College family were treated with sweets too.
