SC extends stay on arrest of Teesta Setalvad and her husband

Supreme Court on Thursday extended the stay on arrest of Teesta Setalvad and her husband in a case of alleged misappropriation of funds worth Rs 1.5 crore meant for rehabilitation of post-Godhra riot victims.

The top court had earlier stayed their arrest till February 19.

The top court directed Setalvad and her NGOs to provide list of documents and means of donors as sought by Gujarat police.
