New Delhi: South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) on Thursday, issued guidelines for Shop-cum-residence complex and Shop-cum-residence plot
after the Delhi development Authority (DDA) on August 21 issued notification for Amendments in Development Control Norms of Shop-Cum Residential Plots.
Addressing the Media, Shikha Rai, chairperson of SDMC’s Standing Committee, said,
“Today’s press conference is to inforn for the regularization, Sanction of shop cum Residence complex. Front facade will be maintained as per revised standard facade control drawing in case of re-construction of buildings in shop-cum-residence complex. Front corridor / covered veranda for public circulation shall be strictly maintained as was applicable in earlier standard plans.”
She further said, “Another important thing is basement will be permitted as per prevailing MPD, UBBL and other Prevailing laws. Conversion charges shall be paid as per notification wherever the premise are converted from residential to commercial.”
“Lift will be permitted as per prevailing UBBL.Sanitary provisions will be provided as per provisions of prevailing UBBL. And no activity is permitted in terrace, roof except services aspected as permitted in UBBL 2016,” added Rai.
