Senior Cardiologist corners WHO report on Indian COVID deaths, questions intent

India (06/05/2022): Amid political controversy over WHO report which has pegged Covid deaths in the country to over 40 lakh, which is 10 times more than official figure, senior Cardiologist Dr Anand Pandey has refuted it as a baseless attempt to demean India.

Sharing his views on the issue, he says, “All these western and international bodies are working hard to demean India by all the means and we really feel very good about being insulted. Look at Ukraine thousands have died,where is UNO and Security Council.
Entire NATO countries and American government is fuelling the fire for different reasons.”

Cornering these developed nations over their intent, he adds, “Europeans and Americans are most racist countries,it’s obvious by the way they are united against Russia. They started slavery in the world specially in south Asian countries and Africa, looted all their wealth. If you visit Mauritius, Fizi ,Trinidad or any carribien countries, you will find Huge Indian diaspora who were lured and forced to work as bonded labourers.”

Talking of WHO’s partiality, he shared, “All two world wars and third major war going on is at so called civilised nations. Feel proud to be Indian and it’s values. Why not WHO is criticising China for the root cause of Covid.”
