Mumbai, August 26, 2022: Criticising BJP on Thursday, former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray asked if it (BJP) was a party or a ‘chor bazaar’. Thackeray said that it was BJP’s single-point program to steal MPs and MLAs.
Taking a dig at CM Eknath Shinde, Thackeray said that Shinde is a “CM on contract” who doesn’t know how long he will be the CM.
He added that the government currently ruling the state will not last for long.
Thackeray was speaking at the Golden Jubilee celebration event of the Electric Workers Union in Mumbai.
“No ideology of their(BJP) own. No conduct. They will do whatever they want, they just want power”, he said.
Speaking about CM Shinde, Thackeray said “Like contract workers, the present chief minister is also on contract. He doesn’t know how long will he be the CM. A two-wheeler ED government is currently running the state”.
Lastly, he accused BJP of first capturing Delhi, and now setting their eyes on Mumbai.
“Now they want to win Mumbai, but they know that they can’t get votes in Maharashtra without using Balasaheb’s name, they know this”, said the former CM.
