The horrifying video, dated May 4, triggered outrage across the nation. One of the women was also gang-raped during the incident, and her brother lost his life while trying to intervene.

Opposition parties have strongly condemned both incidents and criticized the ruling BJP government over the handling of such atrocities. These appalling incidents underscore the urgent need for robust measures to ensure the safety and security of women in India.
