New Delhi, Dec 2, 2022: Gangster Goldy Brar, who is considered to be the mastermind in the murder of noted Punjabi artist Sidhu Moosewala, has been detained in California, USA, according to reports.
India’s central agencies in are in touch with the US authorities to acquire details of Goldy Brar, who is also considered to be the mastermind behind the murder of Dera Sacha Sauda follower Pardeep Singh.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh had demanded the Punjab government to announce a reward of Rs 2 crore for the information pertaining Goldy Brar and had even offered to pay the money by selling his landholding.
The news of Brar’s detention was confirmed by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann during a press conference in Gujarat, wherein he is campaigning for his party AAP for the upcoming elections.
“There is a confirmed piece of news this morning. Being the head of the state I tell you that a big gangster sitting in Canada, Goldy Brar has been detained in America,” Bhagwat Mann said, as per the news agency ANI.
28-year-old Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moose Wala, was murdered in his SUV near his village in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29. The murder occurred a day after his security cover was cut down by the Punjab government.
