Signing of Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) between Hunan University, China and I.T.S. Engineering College, Greater Noida

On this occasion, Guests from Hunan University (HU), China Prof. Cao Yijia (V.P., Hunan University), Prof. Xie Jun, Director, Centre of International Studies, Prof. Zhou Kai, Section Head, Centre of International Studies, Prof. Yu Dejie, College of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering, and Prof. Luo Jiawei, College of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, Hunan University, China visited I.T.S Engineering College and were welcomed by Dr. Vineet Kansal, Director and various HODs of ITS Engineering College, following which they took round of ITS campus of various departments and their respective laboratories. The representatives of ITS-EC and HU had discussion on students exchange, faculty exchange, joint research and sponsorship of conferences/ seminars which lead to Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ITS-EC and HU .

Prof. Dejie stated that Hunan university is one of the oldest universities that was established about 120 years back which is known for its teaching methodologies worldwide. Prof. Dejie was impressed after discussion with students and faculty members of various departments and praised various teaching learning methodologies being followed in ITS-EC and believed that students and faculty of Hunan University will also benefit from MOU with I.T.S Engineering College.

On this occasion, Dr. Vineet Kansal, Director, ITS Engineering College said that the students of ITS Engineering College can now get education and skill development ability by going to HU, China and students from HU, China can come to ITS under student exchange program. Similarly, faculties can visit under faculty exchange program, wherein  they will exchange their research knowledge and expertise on latest research areas with each other.

Dr. Kansal told that ITS Engineering College has already signed a MOU with Leicester University of U.K. He further told that in today’s time, students should possess additional abilities like skill development alongwith university prescribed curriculum in various technical fields. ITS-EC has always incessantly made efforts to provide students and faculty of various departments with latest information in their respective fields and also informed that in the past one year, ITS-EC has conducted more than 20 international Guest Lectures.

Students and faculty of various departments expressed their pleasure on this occasion as they all will be benefitted both in technical and research areas by signing of this MOU with Hunan University.
