New Delhi : Constitutional Right of Limboos and Tamangs of lingering scheduled tribes for reservation of seats in the Sikkim Legislative Assembly is lingering in irrelevant discussions and correspondence between the office of the chief secretary of Sikkim and joint secretary level of the ministry of home affairs for the last 14 years despite mandatory provision of article-332 of the constitution of India. We have lost our hope from the state government because three elections held in Sikkim without ST seats reservation. We are holding protest against Central Government not to wait for the formula of the state govt. and to take suitable decision by the central govt. itself for reservation of seats in the legislative assembly of Sikkim for the limboo and tamang communities in terms.
