SIRSA GETS SHOT IN ARM, SHIV SENA CANDIDATE JOINS SHIROMANI AKALI DAL
Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal, President Shiromani Akali Dal today gave a call to the voters of Delhi for clean sweep victory of the Shiromani Akali Dal-Bharatiya Janta Party alliance candidates on all the seats of Delhi assembly to ensure clean and transparent government. Mr. Badal said that he had felt the pulse of voters during election campaign and alliance was all set to register record margin victory on more than 50 seats.
Talking to media after inducting Shiv Sena candidate from Rajouri Garden Mr. Jaswinder Singh Sona in the party folds here at his residence, Mr. Badal said that this election campaign was a unique experience for him as the people from Delhi were well aware about the misdeeds of Congress and they have very little to add to their knowledge. He said that on the contrary people from Delhi met him and narrated many new stories of corruption and mismanagement done by Congress government.
Forecasting the results of Delhi assembly elections, Mr. Badal said that SAD-BJP alliance would register victory on more than 50 seats whereas Congress would confine to less than 17 seats. He said that all the four candidates of Shiromani Akali Dal were going to make history by winning these elections with thumping margin. Describing these elections as last nail in the Congress’ coffin, Mr. Badal said that these elections have created ground for the decimation of the Congress and party would get less than 90 seats in 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
Warning Congress party to give up its plans of booth capturing and rigging of votes, Mr. Badal said that beleaguered Congress party was working on the plans to use its ‘gunda power’ to save its complete decimation. He said that any such activity would not be tolerated by the alliance. Mr. Badal said that Congress party has been involved in various such activities in the past, due to which the sentiments of the voters have been hurt time and again. He advised Congress party to shed all these ills otherwise it would be soon decimated from the political map of India.
Earlier, Welcoming Shiv Sena Candidate from Rajouri Garden Mr. Jaswinder Singh Sona in the party folds, Mr. Badal said that he and his supporters would be given due place in the party. He said that the induction of Sona in the party has insured record margin victory of Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa, party candidate from Rajouri Garden.
Announcing his full support to SAD-BJP alliance, Mr. Jaswinder Singh Sona said that he along with his supporters would not left any stone unturned to ensure the record margin victory of Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa. He said that he was not well aware of SAD-BJP policies but few days back one of his friend from Punjab told him the pro people policies and programs opted by the alliance government in the state. He said that he was so impressed by the alliance working that he decided to give up the election to join Shiromani Akali Dal. He said that it might have taken too much time to take this decision but he has brought all his supporters in the confidence.
