The Montessori Lab consists of two sections- one that is equipped with ultra-modern learning materials to encourage experiential learning and develop skills like research, communication, social thinking, self-management etc. in children and the other with sports infrastructure to develop their cognitive skills.
As per Sisodia, the model will be adopted in all other government schools in the city to give kids a memorable childhood.
Manish Sisodia has stated that research from around the globe depicts that a lot of conditioning takes place from childbirth & class 2, as this is the age of foundational learning. “Therefore, at this age, it’s pivotal to bring in confidence, eliminate fear and develop understanding in children,” Sisodia said.
Describing the lab as “first-of-its-kind”, Sisodia, who is also Delhi’s Education Minister, said the facilities provided in the lab “are not available in any other school of the country”
