Skill Development Center in rural sector inaugurated in Faridabad

Faridabad: “Education and Health are two primary necessities for development of the country. A healthy country is made of healthy citizens and it develops with the help of educated society”, said Member of Parliament and Minister of State for Social Welfare and Empowerment Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar. The minister was addressing the gathering on the occasion of inauguration of a skill development center under the Deendayal Upadhyay Rural Skill Development in the Tarun Niketan School at village Palla in Faridabad. The skill development center at village Palla has been made with the support of Mount Talent Counseling.

The minister informed that this center would be imparting training to the people of village on different trades. He said that the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is that every youngster should come out of college with some skill in his or her hand. This, said Gurjar, would lead to availability of jobs to everyone, without any additional burden on the government. He said that all of us know very well that everyone cannot be provided with government service; hence the people should try getting job in private sector too. The minister further said that the government is  working on the vision of the Prime Minister to provide every district of the country with a rural skill development center to enable each individual a skill in his hand so that he or she do not remain unemployed.

On the occasion the minister also visited the center of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Rural Skill Development Scheme Foundation.

Speaking on the occasion Kunal Gupta informed that the center of Deendayal Upadhyay Rural Skill Development Foundation would be running classes for eight hours daily. In these classes the students would be trained in different skills such as Computer, First Aid, and CCTV Camera etc. He also informed that the students of nursing are being imparted training at Sarvoday Hospital. He said that we have pledged ourselves to help the students getting the right placement once they complete the course at the skill development center.

Also present on the occasion were Kunal Gupta, CEO Mount Talent Counseling, Ankur Johri from Skill Development Division, Sandeep Sharma, BJP leader Omprakash Rakshwal, R.K.Sharma General Manger JBM Auto Limited and Rohtas Bedi along with others.
