Smart traffic system trials start in Noida today

The Noida Authority is gearing up to launch the Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) on the Noida-Greater Noida expressway from January 11, and will start trial runs for the traffic monitoring tool from Friday.

According to officials, the trials will last for a week after which ITMS will be officially launched. The Authority will also launch a mobile app to be used for the ITMS by the motorists.
