Sonam Kapoor attends reception at 10 downing Street to celebrate UK-India week

Mumbai, 29th June 2023: Bollywood Actress, Sonam Kapoor, who currently resides in London with her husband and son, said she was honoured to be invited to Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak’s reception to commemorate UK-India Week 2023.

On Wednesday, the actor represented India and “its cultural influence globally” at the reception.

Sonam took to Instagram to share photos of herself wearing a Rohit Bal saree. She posted the photos to her Facebook page and stated, “Representing in @rohitbalofficial for the reception at 10 Downing Street to celebrate UK india week. What a beautiful day and so happy I got to wear a sari in the gorgeous London summer.”

Rishi Sunak hosted the reception at his official apartment and office in 10 Downing Street as part of India Global Forum’s flagship event UK-India week, which runs from June 26th to June 30th in London.

On the professional front, Sonam will next be seen in the thriller ‘Blind’, alongside Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lilette Dubey. Blind, directed by Shome Makhija, will be her first picture after her 2019 release ‘The Zoya Girl Factor’. Blind will be available on JioCinema.
