New Delhi (India), April 12, 2023: Students of the Indian Public School in Sadiq Nagar, South Delhi, were evacuated on Wednesday morning following a bomb threat via email.

The threat claimed that a bomb had been planted on the school’s premises and was received at 10:49 a.m. As a precaution, the school administration immediately evacuated the students and called the police.

This is not the first time that the school has received a bomb threat. Last year in November, the administration received a similar email, which turned out to be a hoax. However, given the seriousness of the situation, the police deployed a bomb disposal squad and a dog squad to search the premises thoroughly.

As the investigation continues, worried parents gathered outside the school gate, waiting to pick up their children. The police have assured everyone that they are doing everything possible to ensure the safety of the students and the school premises. Further details are awaited as the situation develops.
