SPORTS FEST- G-OLYMPIA AT GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY

The Galgotias Annual Sports Festival, G – Olympia was a three day grand event giving a thrilling start to 2015. Galgotias University which caters world class education to thousands of students in multiples of disciplines took initiative of the sports fest following the Eduprenuer and CEO, Galgotias Educational Institutions, Mr. Dhruv Galgotia’s principle of necessity of excellent physical and mental health to become a competitive professional in global market. The event witnessed a large number of sports enthusiasts in disguise of audience from all over NCR. G-Olympia which created buzz in whole NCR was catalysed to success with garnering participation from various colleges. With over 20 different sports event ranging from indoor games like carom and chess to outdoor activities like athletics and basketball, it was a cakewalk for this fest to bag the title of most sought after college annual sports festival in NCR region. Every participant was awarded certificate from Galgotias University and winners were crowned with certificate of merits, awards and attractive prizes. Galgotias University also excelled in the hospitality towards the spectators and the participants. Various dignitaries graced the fest with their presence. Chief Guest of the opening ceremony, Prof. Dr. B V Babu, Vice Chancellor, Galgotias University along with many other faculty members went a step ahead by involving themselves in different sports events which gave a moral boost to all other participants. Galgotias University which also has different sports teams has gathered many feathers to their cap in the past with their students excelling in every sports competition. University also has various sports facilities of international standards in both of its campuses. “A healthy balance between physical, emotional, social and mental balance is the secret recipe of a successful professional. We have been walking on the path of success with the same motto which finally lead to transformation of each Galgotian into a competitive professional”, said Mr Dhruv Galgotia, CEO, Galgotias Group. The event came to a close with a sense of joy and feelings of camaraderie among all the Participants, prize winners and organizers.
