New Delhi, 8 June 2022: In Delhiās Jahangirpuri area, an incident of stone-pelting took place on Tuesday night where two groups were involved in the violence, according to officials.
At 10:45 pm on 7 June, the police were informed about the stone pelting. Although no casualties have been reported so far, 3-5 vehicles were damaged in the incident.
The police officials have stated that this incident does not have any religious angle to it. After investigation, it was found that they both were from the same community and were drunk. Their identities, Zahir and his group were violent toward others as they were looking for Shoaib and Sameer.
After the incident, police deployed increased security in the Jahangirpuri area to avoid further such clashes.
