New Delhi, Sep 05, 2023: Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar shared an uplifting video on Monday featuring students from a Gurugram school performing a flash mob at a local mall to commemorate the achievements of Aditya-L1 and Chandrayaan-3, two recent missions by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

The students from The Vivekananda School in Gurugram showcased their dance moves to the popular Bollywood song ‘India Waale’ from the movie ‘Happy New Year,’ starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. The joyful performance received enthusiastic applause from mall-goers.

Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar posted the video on X (formerly Twitter) and commended the students, stating, “Wonderful #Flashmob by young students to celebrate #Chandrayaan3 & #AdityaL1 and PM @narendramodi ji’s inspiring transformation of our India. I enjoyed watching this – do watch & share.”

The students in the video not only expressed their joy but also conveyed their congratulations to ISRO and gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the remarkable space missions.

The video’s opening moments feature the voice of N Valarmathi, a senior scientist with ISRO, counting down to a mission launch. Tragically, Valarmathi passed away in Chennai due to a cardiac arrest on Sunday. Chandrayaan-3, which was launched on July 14 and proved to be a resounding success, marked her final countdown.

The students’ flash mob performance reflects the nation’s pride in ISRO’s achievements and pays tribute to the contributions of scientists like Valarmathi in advancing India’s space endeavors.
