Students to attend summer camp at #CityForest

GHAZIABAD: Close to 800 students from 50 city schools will attend a 14-day summer camp, organized by Ghaziabad Development Authority. The camp will be set up in the recently-opened 150-acre City Forest in Raj Nagar Extension. The event will be inaugurated on Sunday.

“City Forest on the banks of the Hindon, is an ideal vacation spot. We have collaborated with schools to popularize the park among children and residents,” said Vidya Bhushan, officer on special duty at GDA.

“The students can attend workshops for yoga, wood-work and self-defense, and avail the opportunity to stay close to nature, which should raise their environment-consciousness,” said Bhushan.
