SuperNova 2025 Ignites Innovation at GL Bajaj with a Thrilling 24-Hour Hackathon

Greater Noida (05/05/2025): The Abhyudaya Club of the CSE-AIML Department at GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management lit up the campus with innovation, energy, and creativity as it hosted SuperNova 2025 – Hack the Void, Own the Stars, a 24-hour offline hackathon held from May 2 to May 3, 2025.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response with over 3,000 team registrations from an impressive 200+ cities across 9 states, including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi, and Punjab. After a rigorous shortlisting process via online platform partners, 75 top-performing teams were selected to participate in the offline round on campus.
Day 1 began with a high-spirited inaugural ceremony. Prof. (Dr.) Preeti Bajaj, Director of GL Bajaj, lauded the efforts of the CSE-AIML Department and the Abhyudaya Club, encouraging participants with her inspiring keynote:
“There is no limitation to your imagination. She also comforted first-time participants, assuring them: It will add an attribute to your personality.”
The campus transformed into a vibrant coding arena, filled with the sounds of rapid keystrokes, strategy sessions, and mentor walk-throughs. The event was conducted under the expert guidance of Dr. P.S. Pandey (GM, GLBCRI), Dr. M.S. Naruka (Dean Student Welfare), Dr. Santosh Kumar Srivastava (Incharge HoD, CSE-AIML), and Mrs. Attiuttama Mishra (Club Coordinator), whose contributions brought the event to life.
Participants enjoyed a well-rounded experience that went beyond just coding — with networking opportunities, continuous refreshments, and interactive sessions adding to the overall excitement.
Day 2 brought with it the final showdown as the top 15 teams presented their solutions before an esteemed jury of experts and mentors. The panel included:
