#SUV stolen from hotel, valet missing

Gurgaon: An SUV was stolen from a Gurgaon hotel on Saturday night. The valet who took the car keys from the owner is missing, cops said.

 According to the police, Sanchit Bajaj, a resident of Sector 31, arrived at Park Plaza hotel with his friends for dinner around 7.30pm. He handed over the keys of his SUV to an attendant.
Bajaj came out of the hotel around 11.25pm and asked for the car keys, but another attendant told him the car was missing. The hotel staff searched for the car but could not find it. Bajaj later registered a complaint.
An FIR has been filed against an unidentified person under Section 406 (criminal breach of trust) of IPC. The police suspect that the attendant, Satish, who took the keys from Bajaj, might have taken the SUV as he is missing. Cops have also served a notice to the hotel management. “When the owner came out of the hotel, his car was missing. We have served a notice to the hotel management to identify the attendant who had taken the keys from him. We have also sought a report from the hotel which we have not received yet. We could not trace the car on CCTV footage. The investigation is on,” said Ashok Kumar, SHO, Sector 29 police station.The management was unavailable for comment.
