I.T.S. Engineering College -5th Day Orientation for Students Freshers-2014

I.T.S. Engineering College, continued its fifth day of orientation for the freshers and had Mrs. Mridula Gupta Consultant Trainer –  Ex NIS & ICICI and Mr. Ankush Minocha  (Wipro) as a chief guest speakers .

The program initiated by a welcome address by Prof. Anemone Koul Chaku, the co-ordinator of the program who presented brief appraisal of Mrs Mridula Gupta’s career. She is a learning and development professional and has worked mainly in the areas of facilitating trainings, cultural development, process management, sales and event management. She has served companies like ICICI Prudential, Life Insurance, Sapient, NIS Sparta.

A bouquet of flowers was presented by the CRC Head Mr. Ritesh Pandey to the Chief guest . Lamp lighting and Saraswati vandana as usual marked the beginning and students were addressed by Mrs Mridula Gupta. She explained the what is stress and the various techniques of how to overcome the stress. Deep breathing, exercise, meditation, stretching and most importantly laugh helps in relieving the stress. She gave the message “ stay stress free, enjoy your journey, destination shall come and reached.” She emphasized that  a peaceful person has tremendous positive effect on others, life happens for us and not to us. Have strong desire, best communication, good networking and develop relationship because collectiveness is the mantra for success.

This was followed by welcome and lecture of Mr.Ankush Minocha who  is an IT industry leader & his core experience is into Business engagement & IT services delivery for last 18 years .He is currently working with Wipro Technologies . Priorily, he has worked with Organizations like HCL Technologies, HP Singapore & India, Agilent Technologies, Sapient Corporation. He is a distinguished speaker in Leadership both in Industry & Academics.

It was an orientation address to the students on spiritual and business grounds, the first steps to be undertaken by them. He emphasized that parents are their Guru, right thought is the leadership thought that they should have to start a day, to lead and end the day. God has a plan for each of us based on our parents aspirations which are to be fulfilled. He explained that healthy soul, body and mind are important for life journey. He asked students to be not  degree focused mindset but work hard, diligently , have good communication, develop skills and contribute to others and the world. Lastly he conveyed that they should spent their time judiciously.

 

The program ended with handing token of appreciation by CRC Head Mr. Ritesh Pandey. who also extended vote of thanks in a very inspiring way to the Esteemed guest , faculties , staff and students who put in their hard efforts to organize and coordinate the event .
