AAP collected 47L for its election campaign

NEW DELHI: Nowadays, AAP is busy in collecting its fund for upcoming elections in Delhi. They organized events like dinner in Rajendra Nagar & lunch in Panchshila Park. From these events they collected around 47 Lakhs.

In Donations, they collected Rs 2.56 crore on Monday. The goal is of Rs 30 crore for elections in Delhi. AAP is trying to organize number of events in the Capital.

“From Sunday’s events, we managed sufficient amount which priced Rs 20,000 per person, where 200 people gave their presence. We are considering more meetings with senior persons and will charge at a high price. We will soon update our figure; as it does not match our collection.” source of AAP said.

At the other side AAP is also managing donations from Maharashtra and Karnataka too. AAP record shows that from Delhi they managed average donation of Rs 3,751 from 17,877 people and from Maharashtra of Rs 15,876 from 6,692 people.

A team member of AAP said, “It’s unfair to compare because Delhi is a city and Maharashtra is a state. It’s obvious that Maharashtra will generate more funds. But we want more funds for election”.
