The Inaugural Ceremony of “A Training Program on PLC & SCADA”

Departments of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering of I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida is organizing a One Year Training Program on PLC & Scada for the students of B. Tech 3rd year. The training is been imparted by Mr. Ajay Singh, General Manager of S. Chand Edutech and Mr. Rajesh Agravat, Manager Training, Rockwell Automation.
The undertaken training program will focus on the enhancement of the student’s skill with industry oriented projects with PLC programming as well as SCADA programming. It is the type of industrial control system, which control and monitor industrial process through computer-controlled systems in the physical world. The training program was inaugurated by the Director Dr. Vineet Kansal of ITS Engineering College who encouraged the students to acquire the practical industrial oriented skills which are the required requisites in the present scenario . He enlightened that as compared to the earlier times, where the engineer graduates were trained and employed, today, the engineer graduates already equipped with the required industrial skills are recruited with minimum training inputs. He added that today it has become essential to bring in the value added programmes in the curriculum of students to affect and update our students and reconcile as per the present time requirements.
Mr. Ajay Singh and Mr. Rajesh Agravat explained the advantages of Control system, Logix5000 control system components etc. The faces of students gleamed with satisfaction of getting exposure and acquiring the practical industrial knowledge. Faculties present were Dr. Lokesh Bansal, Dr. Vinay Kakkar, Mr Sanjay Yadav, Mr. Jugul KIshor, Ms. Kalpana Hazarika.
