In an exclusive Interview Advocate Prashant Mali said that the mobile wallets have some resident issues as these are used by the people living in the villages, far away from the ‘Digital India’ concept.

“As the mobile wallet has become the money purse for the people it’s account should be secured from being hacking. The bank details should not be saved in the wallet. The money should be up to Rs one thousand / two thousand which will lower the risk of being hacked,” he said.

He said that the people should not share their mobile phones with others and other wallet details. As your mobile phone is linked with your bank account and anytime you see that your mobile phone getting blocked immediately go the nearest mobile store and re-issue your SIM card or call your mobile wallet company and freeze your mobile wallet account as soon as possible as their could be SIM exchange fraud.

“I am handling so many cases where lakhs of rupees have been depleted by cyber criminals through the SIM card and other techniques,” the expert Advised.
