Thousands of Foreign Visitors Make Bulk Purchases at 44th Edition of IHGF Delhi Fair 2017

The hike that was registered in the price of raw material its impact is started to be seen on the products of brass city Moradabad President of Moradabad handicraft association and exporter of Zed & Sons Naved- ul- Rehman told that earlier it was pure brass but for now business of products made of mixed raw materials were flourishing. He also had exhibited special products of lamp & lighting in the 44th edition of Handicraft fair organised Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts in Knowledge Park. He also told that till now iron and glass were used in chandelier & lamps but this year he has used brass chain instead of iron & glass. It weights around 3 & half kg and lot of enquiries have been coming from Australia, Netherland & USA. There was a great demand of products made from Iron and Kroshiya in international market.

BJP Minister Giriraj Singh addressed the exporters and said in the field of handicraft every possible thing is been done to increase the share of India in international market. He welcomed & thanked EPCH for organising such a mega event. He told officers to donate 1 rupee to every labour per month for their social security and they will be provided every possible aid.

On second day of fair a smile was seen on the face of exhibitor as large number of buyers registered them self. Within 2 days more than 3 thousand buyers had come. Maximum numbers of buyers were from Netherland. They have shown their interest in utility items, home decorative items and product made of woods as well as stuffs for daily use.
